Sounds like some kind of Western story, doesn’t it? Nope. It’s our next Dresden Files session. And about time, too! Whew! I thought this thing would *never* be ready for prime-time!
There’s probably something really important I was supposed to say here before giving you the download link and being on my way, but since I can’t think what it might have been … it’ll just have to remain one of life’s little mysteries.

The next Dresden is taking a bit longer than anticipated, so to tide you over, I have an MTMJ first: A guest interview. I sat down with Josh de Lioncourt, of Captive Souls fame, to discuss his new book, Haven Lost: The Dragon’s Brood Cycle, Vol. 1. We also discussed his writing process, GMing, and even a little Cartoon Action Hour. Not a lot of editing went into this one, since I want to devote my editing time to the next Dresden Files issue, so I hope that won’t prevent your enjoyment of this, our first interview show.
To download the interview, go here.
And to grab a copy of Josh’s book (highly recommended by Yours Truly), go here.
Until next time…
…enjoy.
Howdy, folks!
We’re back with another Dresden Files Session–#9, to be precise. Yeah, I thought about using the Beatles song, but … I’m just not in the mood for so much psychidelia.
In this issue, we introduce Thunderstep’s character into our little cadre of magically-minded meddlers. Let the hijinks ensue!
Special thanks to Bambi of the Porcelain Llama Theater podcast for assisting your intrepid editor in his dilligent duties.
Enough with the alliteration. Let’s get going!
…and enjoy!
Howdy, folks!
Been readin’ Western RPG books again. Unfortunately, ain’t nothin’ Western about what we got fer ya in Issue 53. Instead, what we have is the introduction of a new player–Thunderstep. We start with his character generation for Dungeon World and the Dresden Files.
And we are experimenting with a new theme! No no, not that kind of theme. A musical theme. I figure with all the format changes we’ve been making, it might be time to try a different style. Let us know what you think of it, either on our Facebook page, or by shootin’ us an e-mail at Feedback@MTMJetpack.com. Love to hear from ya, partner.
Okay, enough typographical jibber-jabber. Go ahead and download yourself Issue #53…
…and enjoy!
DANCE, MONKEYS! DROP THOSE JETPACKS AND DANCE!!
The assembly line has just let drop another session of The Dresden Files, and we can’t wait to share it with you. I’m cutting these remarks short, because frankly, I’m about ready to drop from exhaustion, but I wanted to get this posted tonight. So I’ll dispense with the usual pithy commentary, and just say…

Hello, you wonderful listeners!
Here we are again, with another exciting issue. This time, we give you our first session of Dungeon World. This game is a ton of fun, and given the fairly lengthy time-span between this first session and the second one, I only wish I’d remembered to give my character the badass voice he has in this session. Of course, I was slightly ill, so that may have contributed to the badassery. I’ll let you be the judge.
At any rate, we hope you enjoy this issue as much as we enjoyed playing the session which spawned it.

Hey, cats and kids,
Since it seems not all podcatchers are giving access to all of our past issues, I thought I’d do a redirect. Y’see, the next issue of MTMJ will be our first Dungeon World session, and the character generation for said session was done way back in MTMJ#36. Why I set it up that way is beyond my capacity, although I’m sure I had a great reason for it at the time. Anyway, since we pretty much pick up where that one left off, I thought I’d try an experiment and re-link to it here. Hopefully this won’t screw up any RSS feed info or anything. If you have any problems, let me know at Feedback@MTMJetpack.com.
So yes, this is a re-run, but I felt it was necessary, given what’s coming. Thank you for your indulgence.
Enjoy.
Hi, gang.
As promised, hot on the heels of MTMJ#49 comes this landmark 50th issue. It’s our 7th Dresden Files session. Most of what I wanted to say is said in my opening remarks, so all I will do here is make my apologies for some Skype issues which make some of our dialogue choppy, provide you with a handy-dandy download link, and tell you to…
…Enjoy!
Howdy, folks!
I know this is very late in coming, but you *were* warned. Hope it won’t happen again. MTMJ Studios is in the process of re-locating, and that is the source of much of this delay. However, as I detail in my opening remarks, I’m going to do whatever I can to speed up the turn-around time for issues, for a couple very big reasons–one of which I’m particularly excited about, as I think you will be, especially as we get deeper into this campaign.
At any rate, here is the issue. Go forth, download, and let us know what you think on our Facebook page.
Enjoy.
